Thailand witnessing the growth of branded hotels

  • The 250-key Langham Bangkok at Chao Phraya River will open by 2021 within Canapaya Riverfront.
  •  The 266-key Mövenpick Suriwongse Hotel Chiang Mai welcomed guests in early November 2017.
  • The 257-key Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa opened.

In Bangkok, The Langham Bangkok at Chao Phraya River will provide 250 keys as inaugurated by 2021. This hotel is located within Canapaya Riverfront, a mixed-use development which also comprises luxury condominiums, a 20,000sqm multilevel themed retail plaza, and a marina. Meanwhile, Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Ratchada is set to open by 2020, adding 220 keys to the local market.

In Thailand’s cultural capital, the 266-key Mövenpick Suriwongse Hotel Chiang Mai welcomed guests in early November 2017, growing Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio in this country to six properties.

In Pattaya, the opening of the 257-key Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa marked this brand’s fourth property in Thailand. In Hua Hin, Avani Hua Hin Resort & Villas was inaugurated, providing 196 keys and recreational facilities.
